Tell Your Story:

Our articles pages, called "Life Lines" are informal articles and stories about real disaster and emergency events and useful survival information. The articles are written by professionals and non-professionals who have insights, experiences, or information they want to share. These are free articles you can download for your home or workplace Disaster Information.

If you work in Fire or Ambulance EMS, or Hospital Emergency, or if you’ve had a personal real-life experience in an emergency yourself, please share it with our readers. Just write up a short, informal, essay-type story or article about any topic related to disasters, large or small, natural or man-made, and what it was like for you. Submit it by sending an email to: disasterfirstaid@gmail.com You don’t need to be William Shakespeare or Ernest Hemmingway; we’ll fix the grammar and spelling for you if needed. We’re simply looking for real stuff from real people.

We would especially like to publish your stories about Disaster Preparedness Community Programs. For example, How did yours get started? What does it do? Is your group affiliated or sponsored by a city Police or Fire Department? What is special about your group? Do you have any suggestions for other people starting a disaster preparedness group or team? Send your ideas and articles to: disasterfirstaid@gmail.com
